Captain Requirements:
- 3000 + total jet PIC hours for 747-400
- 2,000 + total jet PIC hours for 777, A330 and 737NG
- Flown within the last 24 months
- Age limit: Under 58 at the time of interview. Under 56 for NTR B777
- Non type rated captain applicants for 777 should be currently flying or have flown within 12 months on the 767/757 and willing to acquire 777 rating at their own cost upon job offer from KAL.
First Officer Requirements:
- 300 + hours on type and 1000+ hours airline transport for type rated applicants
- For NTR B737/A330: 500 + hours commercial jet and 1000+ total hours airline transport
- For NTR B747/B777: 1000+ hours B777/B744/B767/B757 and 2000+ hours airline transport
- Flown within the last 12 months
- Age limit: Under 45 at the time of interview
- 2+ year degree/College Diploma
Non type rated applicants for 737NG or A330 should be currently flying B737EFIS or A320/A340 and willing to acquire 737NG or A330 rating/training at their expense upon a firm job offer.
Non type rated applicants for the B744/B777 should be currently flying B744/B777/B767/B757 and willing to acquire B744/B777 type rating at their own expense upon a firm job offer from KAL.
